Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC. By purchasing services from our website or entering into a service agreement, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully before initiating a purchase or project.

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC, including:

  • Contract Grant Writing (3, 6, or 12 months)

  • One-Time Grant Writing

  • Grant Review & Feedback

  • Custom Nonprofit Documents

Note: Prospect research is offered exclusively to clients with an active grant writing contract.

2. Contract Grant Writing Services

Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC offers ongoing grant writing services through 3-, 6-, or 12-month agreements tailored to your organization’s budget, timeline, and needs.

2.1 Scope of Work

Each contract includes prospect research, development of a grants calendar, writing and submission of grant proposals, and communication with the client throughout the process.

2.2 Revisions

Each grant proposal includes up to three (3) rounds of revisions, provided that revision requests are submitted within seven (7) calendar days of receiving the draft.

2.3 Payment Terms

Clients agree to a flat monthly rate for a specified number of grant applications. Payment is due on the 1st of each month. Additional applications or projects will be invoiced separately on the 1st of each month, and the work is to be completed then.
Payment is due within 15 days of the invoice. A 1.5% monthly late fee applies to invoices unpaid after 20 days.

3. One-Time Grant Writing

This service supports organizations seeking help with a single grant application.

3.1 Scope of Work

This includes writing, editing, and formatting one grant proposal based on information provided by the client. Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC does not create required attachments (e.g., budgets, board lists, financials, or letters of support) and does not submit grant applications on behalf of clients. Prospect research is not included.

3.2 Timeline

Drafts are typically completed within 5–10 business days after receiving all required content. All necessary information must be submitted at least 14 calendar days before the funder’s deadline for grants with deadlines. Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC is not responsible for missed deadlines due to late client materials.

3.3 Revisions

Includes one (1) round of revisions requested within 7 days of draft delivery. Additional revisions may be completed for a flat fee of $45 per revision.

3.4 Payment Terms

Clients will be invoiced after signing the agreement. Payment is due within 15 days. A 1.5% monthly late fee applies after 20 days. If a project is canceled after work has begun, the client agrees to pay for work completed to date or a $50 cancellation fee, whichever is greater.

4. Custom Nonprofit Documents

Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC offers custom, one-time deliverables to support nonprofit readiness, such as:

  • Organization Summary

  • Program Description

  • General Operating Budget

  • Outcomes & Evaluation Summary

  • Statement of Need

  • Fundraising One-Pager

4.1 Delivery & Revisions

Custom projects are typically delivered within 3–5 business days once all information is received. One (1) round of revisions is included, requested within 7 days of delivery. Additional revisions are $45 each.

4.2 Scope Limitations

These services do not include consultation, strategic planning, or submission of materials to third parties.

4.3 Payment & Cancellation

Clients will be invoiced upon signing the agreement. Payment is due within 15 days. A 1.5% monthly late fee applies after 20 days. If a project is canceled after work has begun, the client agrees to pay for work completed to date or a $50 cancellation fee, whichever is greater.

5. Grant Review & Feedback

Clients may submit self-written proposals for professional review. Feedback includes detailed comments, edits, and improvement suggestions. If requested within 7 days, one follow-up round of clarification is included.

6. Prospect Research

Prospect research is available only with active contract grant writing services. It includes strategic identification of grantmakers aligned with the organization’s mission, analysis of giving history, funding priorities, and application criteria.
Prospect research is not offered as a stand-alone service or as part of one-time grant writing.

7. Payment Terms (All Services)

All services must be paid in full before delivery, unless you agree in writing. Payments are due within 15 days of invoicing. A 1.5% late fee applies after 20 days. Prices are in U.S. dollars and subject to change.

8. Refund Policy

All service sales are final once work has begun. Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC reserves the right to offer a refund or credit at our discretion in cases of extenuating circumstances.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials and deliverables remain the intellectual property of Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC until payment is received in full. Unauthorized sharing, reproduction, or redistribution of any written material is prohibited.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC does not guarantee funding success. All services are provided “as is.” Grant outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including funder priorities, timing, and organizational readiness.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from using any service or deliverable.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.

13. Updates to Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. Just so you know, updates are effective immediately upon posting on our website.
